Start from people
We introduce players' appeal not only through ranks and records but through playing styles and watching points.
ABOUT MIRUGO
Turning Go into
a story to watch.
You don't need to know every rule: knowing the players and what to watch turns a game into drama. MIRUGO is a media site that creates an entrance to "watching" Go.
01 / OUR MISSION
From something only players enjoy
to something everyone can watch.
Players' personalities, the background of a game, and the critical moments. We share these 3 things in plain words, so that even first-time viewers find themselves wondering about the next move.
Focus on one move
You don't have to understand everything. We point out one highlight that is easy to follow in a game.
Separate the facts
We keep official information separate from the MIRUGO editors' watching commentary and our own ratings.
02 / EDITORIAL POLICY
About our information
Game schedules, results, ranks, affiliations and so on are checked against public information from organizers and affiliated organizations such as the Nihon Ki-in. Start times, colors and streams that have not been announced are not guessed; we mark them "not announced."
MIRUGO is not the official site of any Go organization. For the latest and most accurate information, please also check the official sources linked in each article.
