ABOUT
About this tournament.
The Judan is a title organized by the Sankei Shimbun, the Nihon Ki-in and the Kansai Ki-in, and one of Go's seven major titles (special sponsor: Daiwa House Industry; sponsor: Teikei). The challenger is decided in a 20-player tournament and plays a best-of-five against the Judan.
Watching notes
Each player has 3 hours in both the title match and the main tournament. Top players often meet already in the tournament stage, so the main tournament is a must-watch.
